WBA Super Welterweight champion Keith Thurman is very optimistic in his upcoming fight with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao. The undefeated champion is so confident that he vows to put Pacquiao on the canvass in two rounds, and is willing to bet $10K every round on himself.
Slight Favorite
The oddsmakers seem to agree with Keith Thurman. He is considered as the slight favorite to win the match. According to Odd Shark, Thurman enjoys an edge of -135 favorite while the eight division world titlist has an underdog odd of +105. It means that if you need to bet $135 for Thurman to win $100 while a bet of $100 for Pacquiao will net you $100.
Along these lines, Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach stated that he will be winning “huge money�? on bets since Pacquiao is the underdog in the upcoming fight. Thurman replied that he will be putting down some money on himself, to have more motivation to knock his opponent down.
Fearless Forecast
Thurman added that he believe that Pacquiao wouldn’t last for three rounds, because hes gonna knock him down in two rounds. In fact, he is willing to bet $10K per round just to keep him motivated.
He said that he is much younger and will overwhelm his opponent with his flawless offense. His records speak for himself, having 29 wins and no losses, with 22 of those in knockouts. Pacquiao on the other hand, is 10 years his senior, and sports a record of 61 wins, 7 losses and 2 draws with 39 knockouts.

While Pacquiao rarely trash talks his opponents and let does his talking on the ring, trainer Freddie Roach said he likes it when his ward gets bothered by opponents offensive comments.
“He is bothered by some things said, and I like that (Pacquiao) does get angry. I do like when Manny doesn’t like his opponent because he does fight better,” Roach explained.
