Many netizens were impressed by the good deed of one Grab driver after giving a free ride to his passengers.
The story of 63-year-old Grab driver named Mang Romualdo Alabarca is now making rounds on social media because of his goodness. Whenever Mang Alabarca went home from work, he used to pick up random passengers who are stranded.
In an interview with Alabarca on the Filipino Star Ngayon, he said that what he is doing is an achievement for him. Receiving a thank you from his passenger is enough according to him.
“‘Yung magpasalamat lang…masaya na ako nun,” said Alabarca.
Alabarca brings his passengers from Taft Avenue, Manila, and Bacoor, Cavite. He also said he’s not picky with the passenger because whenever they booked him, he immediately accepted it.
Alabarca also shared about those passengers whom he had given a free ride. He said that when he learned that they’re going home and on the same route towards his home, he picked them up. Every time his passenger pays, he refused to accept it because it is a free ride.
He also revealed that he started to give free rides to his passengers since he started to be a driver. In fact, one of his passenger named Jeman Bunyi Villanueva shared his encounter with Mang Alabarca on social media and it immediately went viral.
The said post garnered almost 4,000 shares and many netizens expressed their admiration to Mang Alabarca.
