This street vendor read his Bible when there’s no customer.
We have been taught that having a lot of money and living a luxurious life is considered wealthy or rich. What we don’t know is that being “completely” wealthy means you are rich in all aspect of life; spiritually, mentally, financially and emotionally.
The Bible taught us in Matthew 6:19-20 that our treasure we acquire on earth will be destroyed by moth and rust and will be stolen by theives. But whatever treasures we stored in heaven, no moth or rust will destroy nor thief will steal.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also,” Matthew 6:19-20.
One netizen named Luren C. Padinas took to Facebook her amazement upon seeing a street vendor read his Bible when there’s no customer. She captioned the post:
“Kanang feeling nga na blessed kau ka tungod nakakita ka sa kilid sa emall sa ingon ani.”
The street vendor only sells candy beside a mall. She also added that the vendor doesn’t really care but feel happy despite his life’s status.
“yes pobre sya ug namaligya ra sya ug mga candy but nakita nako nya nga malipayon kau siya . every time wala sya ug costumer sige sya ug basa ug Bible .God is really good.”😇😇😇
Many netizens were also amazed and admired the man for his devotion to God. God surely consider this man wealthy for though he might look poor, he is not poor at all. In fact, having God in his life made him so wealthy more than anyone else.
