While filming on his GoPro at Lake Fausse Point State Park, Lance Burgos, this father got the biggest surprise of his life while fishing with his child. Thinking that he hooked a catfish, this father and child caught a huge alligator!
This father named Lance Burgos went on fishing with his child in the murky waters of Lake Fausse Point State Park, Louisiana while filming with his GoPro.
As he stopped their pedal-powered kayak alongside the line, one of his children began extending an arm towards it when Mr. Burgos warned her to be careful. When he lifted it up, it turned out that he catches a large alligator at the end of the line.
Burgos can be heard screaming in the video as he pulls up the huge reptile:
“Oh my God! That’s a big (expletive) gator!”
Then, he immediately pedaled the boat to escape the predator as the child behind him is heard crying. In the video, the child tried to grab the fishing line before the gator appears and this caught a lot of attention.
Burgos posted the heart-pounding footage in YouTube, gaining more than 1 million views. The caption of the video read:
“Kayaking and camping at Lake Fausse Point State Park, St. Martinville, La., will never be the same.”
