These two motorists went viral after playing jack en poy in the middle of traffic.
Because of the ever-growing population, our streets and highways are also becoming populated with vehicles that cause the traffic. In the Philippines, traffic jams have always been part of the daily lives of every Filipinos. In the hassle and bustle streets, especially in Manila, a supposedly 30-minute ride would often take an hour or even more because of the heavy traffic.
Not to mention of the mishaps on the road, two primary reasons are because of disobedient motorists and roadworks all over the city. While others were patiently waiting to get out from traffic, there are some who overtakes and finds a way of saving time and avoid the long line. However, this actions often lead to untoward incidents and greatly discourage by our traffic authorities.
With that in mind, a driver named David Brimbuela, with a Facebook username Procopyo Madlangtuta, made some noise on social media after doing this with his fellow motorist.
David uploaded a video of him giving way to a fellow driver to overtake him in the middle of traffic. But before doing so, he first challenged the other driver to play ‘jack en poy.’
He captioned the post:
“Dapat chill lang sa kalsada!!!”
In the video, he was heard saying:
“[Makipaglaro] ka sa akin ng jack en poy palulusutin kita. Dali!”
The video is currently making rounds on social media and many netizens commended him for doing this while in the middle of traffic.
Filipinos as we are, we always find a way to turn our anger and disappointments into something fun and stay positive.
