These smart kids know how to boil eggs without using water.

Eggs are considered as a versatile food because of its diverse use not just for cooking. There are three most common ways to cook eggs: poaching, boiling, and frying. Aside from that, eggs are easy to cook and this as actually a resort for people who are hungry and in need of something to eat.

Boiling an egg seems like it should be one of the easiest culinary feats to master. According to J. Kenji López-Alt cookbook The Food Lab: Better Home Cooking Through Science, the right temperature for an egg white is 180°F (82°C) but above that’s about 10 degrees hotter than the ideal temperature for the egg yolk.

For the best egg, gently lower your eggs into the boiling water and let them cook for 30 seconds. Lower the temperature by adding ice. Let the water boil up again and cook for 11 minutes at about 190°F according to Quartz.

But did you know that you can actually boil eggs without water?

These young smart kids did an amazing cooking lesson on how to boil an egg in an underground pit.

First, these children dug a hole until it looks like a small cave and then they dig another hole on top of the cave.

They put some burning sticks into this small cave, acting as a stove, to create a fire.

The smaller hole is where they put the eggs. As the smaller eggs were fully covered with eggs, these young clever kids covered the eggs with some green leaves and mud layer.

Later, the other holes were made through the mud layer to let the steam out during the cooking process.

When the eggs were finally cooked, they remove the mud and leaves.
