Netizen Shared The Old Woman’s Story On Facebook Who Sells Puto For Her Grandchildren Even She Has Severe Back Problem Because Of Working!

A concerned citizen shared the old woman’s story on social media in hopes that people would help her plight.

In the Philippines, poverty and unemployment is the primary culprit why there are countless homeless and starving individuals on the streets and sidewalks. Senior citizens are not exempted from this unfortunate situation and though the government has programs for them, still, we can see and heard stories of their in plight. Just like this old woman who got a severe back problem because of working hard.

This old woman was seen carrying ‘puto’ or homemade glutinous rice delicacy, a famous food in the Philippines, despite having a severe back problem.

The netizen narrated the plight of the old woman. The Facebook post read:

It was mentioned in the post that whatever the old woman earned will directly go to her two grandchildren who was left by her child in her care. Despite her physical condition, she works hard and her grandchildren gave her strength to endure this difficulty.

Sadly, the concerned netizen only had P100 in her wallet and handed it to the old woman. She said that she posted the woman’s plight in hopes that it would reach kind-hearted and good-natured individuals that could help the old woman.

Indeed, a little ounce of kindness is never wasted and will surely be rewarded.
