People’s champ Manny Pacquiao dares his former rival Floyd Mayweather Jr. to play a basketball game in General Santos City.
On May 10, 2018, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao said that talked via phone call with Floyd Mayweather Jr. who is currently having a vacation in the Philippines. He invited Mayweather in General Santos City to play basketball during the four-day league in General Santos City.
“Nagkausap kami sa telephone. Kamusta lang. Sabi ko, ‘Welcome to the Philippines. Enjoy your vacation. In-invite ko nga siya na makapaglaro sila dito sa may four days league dito sa GenSan.”
Back in 2015, Pacquiao and Mayweather starred in the “Fight of the Century” which becomes one of the most historic fights in the boxing history.
On board in his private jet, Floyd Mayweather Jr., the former pound-for-pound boxing king, arrived here early Tuesday morning.
The 41-year-old Mayweather went to the Philippines as he was invited by his personal assistant for a vacation. The undefeated American boxer enjoyed the summer heat in the country after visiting El Nido group’s premier luxury resort in Pangulasian Island in Palawan for island hopping.
According to Rappler, the retired American boxer also took a glimpse of the country’s mall culture by swinging by two shopping malls in Pasay City. The sports icon decided to stroll the swanky S Maison mall in Conrad Manila.
